Coletta E. Speakman, 82, Columbus, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016. She was born in Columbus, OH on August 29, 1933, to Ernest and Mildred (Moore) Stiebritz and is preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Speakman; grandson, Paul Speakman; great-grandson, Jase Speakman; brother, Ernie Stiebritz; sister, Alice Stiebritz.
She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Paul C. Speakman; daughter, Cindy (Bob) Cox; sons, Dirk Speakman and Scott (Candy) Speakman; sisters, Patty (Dan) Hurst, Edith Cooey, Sylvia (Wendell) Renfroe; brothers, Buck (Tita), George (Kathy) and Cary (Jane) Hakes; grandchildren, Dawn, Jami, Dirk, Devin, Taylor, Hunter, Zach, Amy, Tammy and Katelyn; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Coletta lived in Gatun, Panama where she graduated from High School and then attended Nursing School in South Carolina. Coletta worked at Monterey Care Center for over 30 years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, 11 AM.
