Connie M. Tufts

Connie Tufts, age 75, of Columbus, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018. She was born on October 15, 1943 in Lockbourne, OH. She was married to Daniel Conrad Tufts on October 13, 1962.

Connie graduated from Hamilton Township High School in 1961 and was then employed at Seagrave Fire Apparatus from 1962 - 1966. After starting their family, she was a stay at home wife and mother.

She was a member of Lockbourne Church of Christ in Christian Union since 1974 and was a singer in "Faith Under Fire." Anyone who knew Connie knew that she loved Dan with a loyal heart and loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him with faithful devotion.

Surviving family includes daughters, Karen (Anthony) Wolfram and Carla (Adam) Merrick; grandchildren, Taylor (Paul) Simpson, Brayden Merrick and Rebecca Merrick; brother, Gary (Joy) Bedard; cousin, Marsha Bush; nieces, Terri Honeycutt, Loveda Davis and Lori Blount; nephew, Robert Bedard; best friends, David & Sandra Bobst along with many faithful friends at Lockbourne Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Preceded in death by husband, Daniel Conrad Tufts; parents, Robert and Ferne Bedard.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Lockbourne Church of Christ in Christian Union, 156 Mechanic St., Lockbourne, OH 43137. Rev. Ron Goodling and Rev. Ron Reese officiating.
