Conrad “Coop” Taylor Cooper, 85, of Columbus, passed away at home surrounded by family on September 30, 2025. He was born in Pleasantville, Ohio on August 22, 1940 and preceded by parents, Aurice and Arvilla (Conrad) Cooper; sisters, Margaret and Jane; grandchild, Kayla Moll. Survived by wife, Janet I. (Wilson) Cooper; brother-in-law Gail (Susan) Wilson; sister, Sue (Tom) Nippert; daughter, Christine (Kevin); grandchild, Cory Dignan (Caitlin); great-grandchildren, Cory, Tyler, Leela Dignan and Shaylee and Aubree (Moll) Toledano; great-great-grandson, Braxton Dignan.
Conrad was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving 1958 to 1964. Retired from Ohio Bell phone company. Retired from Auto Additions after 17 years. Conrad was a member Scottish Rite, Free Masons, and Shriners.
In his free time, Conrad taught clogging 33 years (Midwest Cloggers).
Immediate family will greet friends and family from 4 to 7pm, Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Newcomer Northeast – 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, 43231. Immediate family will also greet with guests from 10am until start of service at 11am, Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Newcomer Northeast. Burial to follow at Reber Hill Cemetery in Ashville, Ohio. A luncheon to be held at 2pm at Karl Road Baptist Church following the graveside service, 5750 Karl Road, Columbus, OH 43229.
