Cora Idella Myers, 97, Columbus, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Cora was born in Grove City, OH on April 22, 1917, to Mae Jefferson and Leona (Williams) Spillman and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George "Jack" Myers; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Esther Baxter; sons, Harold Blair, Steven (Sarah) Blair, Sam (Tracie) Myers; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Cora drove a school bus for the Big Walnut Schools and also worked for General Motors.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 13, 2014, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Sunday, September 14, 2014, 2:00 PM.
