Cora "Joan" Leahy

Cora "Joan" Leahy, 83, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. Cora was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on August 21, 1930, to the late Wayne and Mary (Wolfe) Steele and is also preceded in death by siblings, Louis Steele, Forrest Steele, Helen Benn and Raymond Steele.
Cora is survived by her daughter and best friend, Judy Leahy; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Cora was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church for over 30 years. She also worked in the office at Discount Furniture for many years before retiring.
At her request, there will be no services. Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH is honored to serve Cora's family.
