Cora E. "Betty" Walls Kelly, born on May 15, 1923 in Waverly, OH, passed away on February 23, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Marie Sines and Herby Lewis Walls. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Howard Lee Walls Sr., sister, Vivian Marie Walls Wood and husband, James Alva Kelly.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ltc. James Marvin and Eleanor of Stedman, NC, Patrick Curtis and Lori of Whitehall, OH, grandchildren, James Mark (Tina), Garth Fredrick (Stacy), Colin Seamus, Garrett Cecile, Brendan Lewis, Karalyn Kay (Brian) Trautman, Michele Anne (Steve Overfield), 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Betty was a Blue Star Mother Chapter 41 of Marysville, OH 1998-2019, also Eastern Star Triangle Chapter 592 of Linden, volunteer foster grandmother 1987-1995. Betty was a very caring person, she and Jim shared their home with love, taking guardianship of Ola Lucille Kelly age 9 when parents died.
A Private Family memorial service will be held at 2:30pm, Friday, March 1, 2019 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
