Curtis Lee Almond, 62, of Columbus, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born December 28, 1957 in Columbus, son of the late Alonzo Wood and Rose Almond. In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Everett Spencer Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ivy Spradley Almond; son, Curtis Michael Almond-Tate; sisters, Helen Denise Almond-Dillard and Patricia Almond-Spencer.
Visitation will be Monday, September 14, 2020 from 11:00-12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM.
