Cynthia Griffin

Cynthia "Sim" Griffin was born to Juanita (Anthony) Scott and Landon Scott Sr. on December 6, 1953 in Richmond, VA. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her passions in life were decorating, traveling, and spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren!) She will be remembered in the lives that she touched. Along with her mother, Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Caffrey Griffen, daughters Michelle (Marshall) McBride and Juneen Griffin, grandchildren Zaria McBride, Corianna and Crista Griffin and Akil McBride, siblings Harold (Winifred) Roberts, Shirley (James) Wallace, Landon (Martha) Scott Jr., Milton (Jacinta) Scott, Frederick (Debora) Scott and Janet Scott, mother-in-law Shirley Griffin, father-in-law (deceased) William Griffin, and brother-in-law Keith Griffin. On Monday afternoon, April 9, 2018 she peacefully departed among the angels. Preceded in death by her father Landon Scott Sr.

Funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00pm with Pastor Charles Peterson officiating. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery, Columbus, OH
