D. John Smith III, 76, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at his residence.
He was born August 30, 1939 in Milford Center, son of the late D. John Smith II and Ruth Simons Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Smith; stepchildren, Brenda (Richie), Dave (Jenni) and John (Michelle); step grandchildren, Brandy, Britney, Brooke and Richi.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 4:00-5:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation of America, 2800 Corporate Exchange Columbus, OH 43231.
