Dale G. Block, 91, of Worthington, OH, passed away on June 15, 2026. He was born on September 6, 1934 in Cleveland, OH.
Dale was a distinguished Research Chemist in Cleveland. He was an avid football fan proudly cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Dale was a very giving and a longtime member the Baptist Church. He frequently volunteered with Meals on Wheels and other worthy causes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Florence Block, sister, Mary Lynn Ruehlen.
Surviving family includes loving wife, Nancy, step-sons, Kevin Ream, Michael Ream, nieces, Julie and Karen, grandchildren, Lyndsay, Courtney, Bryan, Jason.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 1:00pm.
Burial will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
