Dale L. Penwell, 77 of Grove City, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on June 10, 2014. Born on January 31, 1937 to the late Carl and Sarah (Martindale) Penwell in Atlanta, Ohio. Dale was an Army Veteran and retired teamster. Survived by children Debra (Leo) Buechner and Jeff (Carey) Penwell, grandchildren Trena (Andy) Thompson, Tony Buechner, Teri (Ali) Njie, Andrea Penwell and K-9 Companion Tucker, 7 great grandchildren, siblings Vernon (Carol), Jim (Gloria) Penwell and Helen Alspaugh. Preceded in death by wife Marty Penwell.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 11am until time of service at 1pm with Pastor Pete Jankowski officiating. Burial to follow at Grove City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of your choice.
