Damian Macioce, born on April 5, 1975, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on December 16, 2025, in his hometown. He was a beloved figure who dedicated his life to his family, his passions, and the natural world around him.
Damian was the loving husband of Danielle Macioce for 27 wonderful years. He cherished his role as a father to his children, Geno (Lexi) Macioce and Nekko (Maddi) Macioce, and revelled in the joy of being a grandfather to Alex and Sonny Macioce. His family was everything to him; the time spent with them was his pride and joy. He was also adored by his mother, Neva Macioce, and his father, Lawrence (Karen) Macioce. He held a special bond with his best friend and brother, Joseph Macioce, and shared a deep connection with Zachary Holcombe, Vincent Macioce, and his paper brother, Kevin (Amanda) Hale. His close relationship with close cousin Jim Mike Iacoboni further illustrated his generous spirit. Damian was also loved by his mother-in-law Conni Hale, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including his beloved pets and his girls, Jade and Junie.
Throughout his life, Damian was known for his adventurous spirit and dedication to his interests. He was a longtime snake keeper and beekeeper, always fascinated by the wonders of nature. Cooking was another passion of his, and he loved to create delicious meals for his family. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing video games, fishing, and hunting. His lifelong dream was to own a farm, and one year before his passing, this dream became a reality, highlighting his commitment to his aspirations and love for animals.
Damian is preceded in death by several loved ones, including his grandparents Frank Macioce, Tracy Macioce, Golden Vaughn Little, Ruby and Roy Vorhies. He was also preceded by his stepfather Greg Veit and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation will be held on December 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio, 43123.
Damian Macioce will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his kind heart, and his zest for life. His legacy continues through the many lives he touched and the memories shared with those who loved him dearly.
