Daniel Alan Bryant

Daniel Alan Bryant, age 67, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He was born on May 14, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio to Frances and Clark Bryant Sr.

Dan graduated from West High School, in the Class of 1976. After graduation, he built a career as a skilled locksmith and business owner. As the sole proprietor of Affordable Lock and Key Service, he earned a reputation throughout the community for honest, affordable, and quality work. He was a longtime and proud member of the Associated Locksmiths of America since 1980. His dedication to his trade and the people he served reflected the pride he took in his work and the trust he built with others.

Outside of work, Dan enjoyed camping at Mohican State Park, visiting the Ohio State Fair, watching movies, listening to music, and celebrating with fireworks.

Above all, Dan valued his family. He cared deeply for his children and parents and cherished time spent together. He especially enjoyed family gatherings and holidays with his extended family, surrounded by loved ones and good food.

Dan will be remembered as a hardworking, easygoing, and funny man who loved his family deeply. He will be remembered as a loving father, caring son, devoted brother, and loyal friend.

Dan is survived by his parents, Frances (Treboni) and Clark Bryant Sr.; his sister, Diane Bryant Datz; his brother, Clark (Heather) Bryant Jr.; his children, Tyler Bryant, Zachary Parker Bryant, and Jenna Bryant (Ralph Dials); his former spouse, Nancy Lloyd Laver; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City Chapel. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Dan’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him and were fortunate enough to know him.
