Daniel Davis

Daniel A. Davis was born on December 4, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to his parents, Dean Davis and Katie (Rhea) Davis. He passed on July 10, 2026 surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pier, as well as his sons, Tyler and Ryan Davis.

Dan worked 45 years in the grocery business at Big Bear and Giant Eagle. Throughout his career, he was respected for his leadership, integrity, and dedication to those around him. He developed many long-lasting friendships with those he worked with over the years.

He was a lifelong fan of Ohio State and Cleveland sports. Over the years he enjoyed golfing and fishing, as well as working on and driving his Mustang. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family on trips to Rice Lake in Canada as well as Treasure Island and Stuart Florida.
