Daniel H. Gaus, age 79, passed away at his home on Friday, October 12, 2018. Dan was born on May 2, 1939 to the late Bernard and Helen (Marbach) Gaus.
Dan was a member of the Million Dollar Sales Club when he worked for Edwans Adhesives and was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was a member of the Moose Lodge # 1427.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy (Lincicome) Gaus, son, Michael Gaus, daughter, MelAnne Brown, sisters, Carole (Gene) Doon, Karen (Bob) Hambrick, brother, John Gaus, nieces, Megan, Lindsay, Tiffany, nephews, Stephen, Shawn, mother of his grandchildren, Amy Smith, grandchildren, Katie (Marcus) Seas, Morgan (Marissa) Seas, Brock Gaus, great-grandchildren, Brody and Lucy Seas, neighbors of 42 years, Peggy (Bill) Munzer amd Wanda (Don) O'Malley.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Molly and friends waiting for him with open arms, Bob Sprouse and Paul Fenner. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center, 4340 Tamarack Blvd., Columbus, OH 43229.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Newcomer, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH.
A funeral service will begin at 11am, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the funeral home.
Reception to follow at 1960 Schrock Road, Columbus, OH.
