Daniel James Gordon

Daniel Gordon was born on October 11, 1948 in Morristown, Ohio to the late Una (Wesley) Gordon. He is preceded in death by his brother Jack Gordon.

Daniel was a graduate of Union Local High School, and a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and a very dedicated Ohio State Buckeye fan. Daniel worked as a Coal Miner in Belmont County before moving the family to Columbus Ohio. He worked for Central Ohio Transit Authority 25 years before retiring in 2013.

Daniel is survived by his wife of (48) years, Hazel Denise (Willis) Gordon who he married on September 04, 1976; daughter,Tammy (John) Grabowski of Lillington, NC, daughter, Tanya (Bob) Cargnel, of Bridgeport; Son Adam (Lannah) Gordon, daughter, Christina (Nick) Gray grandchildren, Natashia, Celeste , Blair , Kristopher , Kyle , Dustyne , Shaianne , Shayla, Ethan , Jax , Adam Jr. , Haley , Mercedes , Gage and 17 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Paul Gordon of St. Petersburg, Florida, Norma Russell of Lacygne, Kansas, Jack Gordon of Morristown, Ohio ; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm. Burial will be held at Dayton National Cemetery on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00am.
