Daniel J “Dan” Larrison, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 14, 1947, in Troy, Ohio, Dan’s life was a testament to devotion, service, and quiet strength.

Dan was the beloved husband of Andrea J. (Roos) Larrison, with whom he shared 57 years of companionship and partnership. He was a cherished father to Tiffany Larrison and Bryan (Asia) Larrison, whose lives were shaped by his steadfast guidance and unwavering support. His legacy lives on through his four grandchildren—Avah, Skylar, Gunner, and Quinn Larrison—whose laughter, horseplay, and joy were among his greatest treasures.

Dan was the son of the late Ira Floyd Larrison and Sylvia Violet (Terpstra) Larrison, and was also predeceased by his brother, Larry Larrison. He honored their memory throughout his life by embodying the values of integrity, kindness, and resilience.

A proud American, Dan served his country with honor during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Navy, stationed aboard the U.S.S. Belknap. His service reflected his deep sense of duty and patriotism, qualities that continued to define him long after he returned home.

Dan possessed a remarkable array of talents and interests. He was a skilled woodworker, able to coax beauty and function from raw materials, often creating pieces that became family heirlooms. As an avid historian, Dan found joy in reading and learning about the past, always eager to share knowledge and stories with those around him. His dedication to hard work and providing for his family was evident in all that he undertook; to his loved ones, he was not only a provider but a steady presence, always willing to lend a helping hand or listening ear.

Family was the center of Dan’s world. He relished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, creating memories filled with warmth, humor, and unconditional love. His absence will be deeply felt by those who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy endures in the lives he touched.

Daniel J Larrison will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, loyal friend, jokester, and proud veteran. His gentle spirit, generosity, and wisdom shaped the hearts and lives of his family—and the memories created together will be cherished always.
