Daniel Pertee, 74, of Johnstown, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his residence.
He was born October 20, 1943 in Columbus, son of the late George and Alese Queen Pertee.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Molly" Lynch Pertee; grandson, Nicholas Daniel Pertee; brother, John David Pertee.
He retired from the Columbus Fire Department with 28 years of service.
Daniel is survived by his children, Mark (Lisa) Pertee, Christina (George Jr.) Preeman and Kelly Pertee; siblings, Phillip (Winnie) Pertee, Jann (Bob) Link, George Edward Pertee and Jeanie Thompson; grandchildren, Adam Mark Pertee and Lilly Katherine Preeman.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Miller United Methodist Church, 5241 Miller Church Rd. Johnstown, with the memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Inurnment will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
