Daniel Elsworth Timmons

Daniel E. "Dan", age 74, passed away October 21, 2016 at home after a short illness of cancer with his family by his side.
Dan was born May 28, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, where he spent his whole life.
He attended West High School and was retired from General Motors.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Dolby Timmons-Elzey; father, William Timmons; wife, Sally.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Cyndi (David) Cox; sons, Doug (Joan) Timmons, Garry Timmons; sister, Barbara (Ron) Ellis; two nieces, Kimberley Ellis and Terri Lynn Brearey; nephew, Kevin Ellis, all of Florida. Dan has 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Dan never knew a stranger and leaves many cousins and friends in both Columbus and Florida.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 2-5 PM at VFW Post 4044, 2801 Eakin Rd. Columbus, OH 43204.
