Daniel Conrad Tufts, age 74, of Lockbourne, OH, passed away March 29, 2016. He was born January 31, 1942 in Lockbourne, OH to Lewis Richard and Nina Rebeca (Jones) Tufts. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by brother, Lloyd Alvin Tufts and nephew, Lewis David Tufts.
He is survived by spouse, Connie Michelle (Bedard) Tufts; daughters, Karen Elaine (Anthony) Wolfram and Carla Christine (Adam) Merrick; grandchildren, Taylor Nichole, Brayden Michael, and Rebecca Riley Merrick; nieces, Wilma (Billie Jean) Bishop, Terri Lynn (Tufts) Honeycutt, Loveda Lynn (Bedard) Davis, Lori Ann (Bedard) Blount; nephew, Robert Thomas Bedard; in-laws, Gary and Joy Bedard; cousin, Pete Tufts; and too many faithful friends to list.
Daniel graduated from Hamilton Township High School in 1960. He was employed at National Electric Coil, Sears & Roebuck, Signal Delivery, Scioto Ceramics, Capital Resin Corporation, Ryder Logistics, and served as the Administrator for the Village of Lockbourne from 2011-2014. He enjoyed 4 wheeling, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Lockbourne Church of Christ in Christian Union for 42 years and also a member of Lockbourne Masonic Lodge 0232. He was also the lead singer of Faith Under Fire. Anyone who knew Dan knew that he loved with a loyal heart...but most of all, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him with faithful devotion.
Visitation Friday, April 1, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Homegoing Service Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2pm at Lockbourne Church of Christ in Christian Union, 156 Mechanic St., Lockbourne, OH 43137.
