Danny Joe Elder

Danny Joe Elder, 72, passed away Dec. 3, 2016. He was preceded in death by parents, Willard Oris and Ruth Elder; wife, Mary Lou; brothers, Lee, Rick, Steve, and Carty; and sister, Shirley.
Danny is survived by children, Peggy (Todd) Frasure and DJ (Donita) Elder; grandchildren, Brittany Phillips, Tony Pastorek, Ali Pastorek, Morgan Frasure, Daniel Jr. (Brook), Renee, Justin, and Savanna Elder; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, June (Katie), Tom (Rose), Carla, Bob, Dave (Mary), Jack (Barb), Dennis, Bill (Nancy), John (Dean), and Cecil (Jane).
Danny worked at Rocky Fork Country Club in Gahanna. He enjoyed working outside and working on cars. He was an avid country music lover. Danny loved being around his grandkids and family.
Visitation Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016 from 5pm until the time of Memorial Service at 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danny's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
