Danny D. Trainer, 66, passed away on January 4, 2019. He was born on July 12, 1952.
He was a fantastic son, husband, father, grandfather and friend anyone could hope to have. Danny enjoyed drag racing. He retired from Broad and James Towing and Autocare after 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman W. and Lois E. Trainer, brothers, Edwin McLaughlin, Wesley N. Trainer, sister, Dorothy Sherman, son-in-law, Chris Dietrich.
He is survived by wife, Shirley Trainer (Athey) of 47 years, daughter, Kim Dietrich, son, Daniel (Laura) Trainer, grandchildren, Shelby Trainer, McKaylen Garrison, Bryce Dietrich, Damon Meckes, sisters-in-law, Adabelle McLaughlin, Ellen Trainer, several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7pm, Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a memorial service will begin at 7pm.
