Darlene Hansford, age 86, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 in Summerfield, FL. She was born on September 25, 1931 in Ceredo, WV.
Surviving family includes husband, John Drombroski, Jr.; sisters, Jackie (Roger) Miller and Betty Meeks; step-daughters, Dorothy Ham and Josephine Arnold; step-son, Richard Drombroski; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hansford, Barbara Hasford; son-in-law, Carl Calderone; grandchildren, Steve and Mike Hansford and Bill and Mike Hansford; several great-grandchildren and nephews; close first cousins, Betty Lancaster, Ruth Barton, Kay Miller and Joane York; special friends, Thelma Brooks, Jean Browning, Norma Paddock, Vickie, Brenda and Debbie Fox.
Preceded in death by parents; sons, Marty, Mike, Monty and Mark Hansford; brother, Bill Williams.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway, where visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service. Reverend Kevin Chambers officiating.
Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
Darlene was a wonderful, intelligent woman. She loved to do puzzles, color pictures and gamble. She was a country western singer, poet and decorator. I will miss her terribly. Her husband, John Drombroski, Jr.
