Darrell "Tree" Doughty, passed away Monday October 15, 2018 while a resident of Prestige Gardens of Marysville Ohio.
Darrell was a beloved father, grandfather and friend to many. He was a long time resident of Columbus, Ohio. He was a veteran of the U.S Navy and he also had a long career as a proud Union Member of the Sheet Metal Construction business.
Darrell loved his family dearly. He also enjoyed spending time with his late wife, camping with their dogs. He also had a soft spot for The Ohio State Buckeyes Football and hunting. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life and wife, Frances Doughty, sons: Tim Doughty, Matthew Doughty and Daniel Doughty. He is survived by his sons: Darrell (Annette) Doughty and Michael (Lori) Doughty, daughter-in-law, Jeannie Doughty, beloved grandchildren: DJ (Abby) Doughty, Trevor Doughty, Shelby Doughty, Tyler Jenkins and Nathan Jenkins.
Friends and family may call Monday October 22, 2018 from 3 pm - 5 pm with a funeral service to directly follow at 5 pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City OH.
