He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Augenstein and sister, Paula Kluczynski.
Surviving family includes wife, Lora, children, Emily (Peter) Mitchell, Nathanael Augenstein, Jacobsen (Sarah) Augenstein, father, Edwin Augenstein, siblings, Lois (Kevin) Huff, Sharon (Greg) Moran, John (Holly) Augenstein, Steve (Julie) Augenstein and several nieces and nephews.
Private services due to COVID-19 will be held.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Lower Lights Ministries or to the Institute of Creation Research.
