David Charles Clark, 63, a resident of Columbus his entire life, passed away April 23, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 16, 1961, to the late Mary Joan (Kuhle) Lindsey and the late Lawrence Leroy Clark, Jr. He is proceeded in death by his sisters, Diana Denise Ceciliani, and Barbara Lee Rollison. Surviving family includes three siblings (Laura Knipmeyer, Brenda Minnema, and Steven Clark), one son (David Christopher Dillow with his mother Lisa (Dillow) Grizzell), and one daughter (Valerie Anne Patton with her mother Linda (Barrell) Jarrell), and one granddaughter, (Mindy Lou Allen with her father Steven Allen). David’s life partner of six years is Julie Cee. Dave attended early grade school at St. Philip the Apostle and the Columbus Public Schools of Willis Park, Sherwood, and Walnut Ridge High Schools.
Dave loved participating in his church, spending time with his family, listening to hard rock and blues guitar music and concerts, his pinball machine, and fostering his perennial garden flowers. He had an especially close relationship with his Mom throughout his life. He was an independent critical thinker, and an avid follower of current events, politics, natural wonders, and scientific discoveries. Dave was especially proud of his work and training under an internationally recognized chef as a young man. He worked 25+ years in several roles at Atlas Steel, and many years more recently in purchasing at Crystal Steel, (place). A private memorial is planned at New Life Church, Gahanna Ohio. His cremated remains will be buried with his mother at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In lieu of flowers please donate to:
