David E. Hutchison

David E. Hutchison, lovingly known as "Hutch," passed away on March 9, 2026, in Powell, OH, at the age of 75. He was born on March 18, 1950, in Columbus, OH, to Robert and Betty Hutchison.

Hutch had a heart full of kindness and a spirit that brought laughter to those around him. He enjoyed traveling, helping others, and making people laugh. His passions included watching football, playing golf and cards, and spending quality time with his family, which he cherished deeply.

Hutch is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann; his son, David (Michele) Hutchison Jr.; and his daughter, Natalie (Tony) DelCol. He is also survived by his siblings: Robert, Jo, Mary, Richard, Stephan, and Corinne. Hutch adored his grandchildren: Phil, Ray, Ciera, Kayla, Ashley, Allison, and Alex, twelve great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews who all brought him so much joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Hutchison, and his brother, Michael Hutchison.

David E. Hutchison will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the love he shared with everyone around him. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and compassion that will continue in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-5pm, Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, OH.

Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
