David Gordon Hunter, died peacefully surrounded by family on July 27, 2018.
He was born April 19, 1946 in Columbus, OH into the loving family of Gordon and Helen (Powers) Hunter.
Dave was a Master Plumber, Pipefitter and proud member of Local Union 189 for 41 years. He helped build this city, then he and Ruth Ann built their dream home with the help of their sons, brothers and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Smith and nephew Chris Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Ruth Ann (George) Hunter; sons, Mark (Kris) Hunter, Shawn (Sharon Rivera) Hunter; grandchildren, Kyra and Elena, Patrick Ryan; siblings, Francis Hunter, Don (Becky) Hunter, Joy Dolan; his very loving cousins, nieces and nephews, many dear lifelong friends and his faithful companion, Taffy.
In lieu of flowers, donations to: The Father Smith Tuition Endowment Fund c/o Saint Matthias.
