David Lee Meade

Rev. David Lee Meade, age 66, passed away on August 19, 2026. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 1, 1960 to the late Dennis Meade and Annabelle (West) Meade.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Anna Kay (Homer) Evans, Louella Runkle, Dennis (Deborah) Meade, Judy (Steve) Greene, Brenda (Ira) Hinkle, Sylva Meade, Rosemary Meade, and Daniel Meade.

David is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Meade; sister, Eragay (Edward) Graham; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. David will also be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law, Mark, Ronnie, Bart, and Warren.

He was a pastor at the Church of God of Prophecy for many years. David was a man of deep faith who sought the Lord with a childlike wonder that inspired those around him to seek salvation.

David was a loving husband and family man, and had an unwavering passion for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, August 27, 2027 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and again on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 11:30am until time of funeral service at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Kevin Greene officiating.
