David Lee Penick

David Penick, 67, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 in Newark, Ohio. David was born on May 30, 1958 in to Bobby D. Penick and Mary M. Martin-Lane.

David is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Charlie Lane, sisters, Sharon O'Reilly, Cheryl Maier, brother, Johnny Penick, son-in-law, Gerron Mayers.

He is survived by children: Jessica Penick, Felica Penick, Brian Bailey, Lilly Penick, siblings: Mel Penick, Tom (Cheri) Penick, Vickie (Jim) Abbott, Jennie Penick, 10 grandchilren, and 1 great-grandchild, and his best friend Meat. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Donna Elson.

Family will be conducting a graveside service on July 12th at 11am at Cedar Hill Cemetery, with Military honors.
