David M. Schwartz, 76, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He was born to Leroy and Eunice Schwartz in Portsmouth, Ohio on October 20,1939. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joan; son, Robert Hewitt; daughter, Patricia Matthews.
David is survived by daughter, Deborah (John) Sutton; son, David (Susan) Schwartz; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Gordon) Monohan and Linda Weber. David's loss will be felt deeply by his family as well as many friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer to have memorial donations made to Mount Carmel Foundation Hospice, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213.
A private, family service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW chapel.
