David Wayne Cox

David Wayne Cox, age 64 of Columbus, OH, passed away on July 1, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1960 to the late James Elmer and Mary Ellen (Smith) Cox in Glouster, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers John Cox, James Cox, Robert Cox and Richard Canter, sister Lura Cox. David is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Renda (Ackison) Cox, children Stephanie Cox, Edwin (Laira) Cox and Cindi (Richard) Cox, grandchildren KayLee Lynn Carroll, Aiden Otis Cox, Kylie Faith Carroll, Curtis Edwin Blackburn, Dillionger Wayne Buckler, Douglas Lee Buckler, Delilah Nicole Buckler, RileySue Nicole Cox and Richard Joseph Eisnaugle, Jr., siblings Thomas Cox and Susan Cox.

Per David's request a cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home.
