David E. Whaley, 73, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East.
He was born February 19, 1943 in Columbus, son the late Gordon and Marie Lawler Whaley.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Spaulding.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary Dolby Whaley; sons, David (Barb) Whaley Jr. and James (Christa) Whaley; daughter, Brenda Whaley; brothers, Kenny Whaley, Roger (Sue) Whaley, Larry (Mary) Whaley, Bernard "Smoke" (Kay) Whaley, Greg (Sue) Whaley and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 11:00-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
