David L. Wright, 88, of Columbus, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at his residence.
He was born July 1, 1925 in Chandler, Oklahoma, son of the late William Leslie Wright and Mabel Pope.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita L. Wright; brother, Richard McDaniels; grandson, Levan Hicks.
He is survived by his daughters, Lorna L. "Bonnie" White, Leslie Arlene Duncan; Vanessa M. Wright and Lindsay (Brandon) Holt; son, Terry Lynn Scott; grandchildren, Breon Backus Jr., Alyssa Wright, Gabriel Komrabai-Kanu, Ricardo Johnson, Levail Hicks and Levi Hicks II.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
