Dean A. Wheatcraft

Dean Allen Wheatcraft, 78, of Columbus, OH, passed away on November 2, 2014. He was born on July 16, 1936. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Frances (DeLong) Wheatcraft, siblings, Neal Wheatcraft, Lynn Wheatcraft, Miriam Wheatcraft, Lorna Wheatcraft and partner of 45 years Herbert Hoover Holland Sr.

He is survived by sons, Herbert Hoover (Debbie) Holland Jr. and Joseph Anthony (Tammy) Holland, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, cousins David R. Ellis-Anwyl and Nancy G. Wilson.

Dean worked for the State of Ohio for 43 years at the Department of Job and Family Services. His honors included Team of the Month 2005. Dean was well known throughout the state of Ohio for his diligence in his work, character, and fair approach to all problems.

The family wishes to express special thanks to staff of the Paliative care team expecially Dr. Deborah Woidtke D.O. and Janette Varmojan Hunter, R.N.

At his request there will be no service following cremation with burial in New Lexington, OH.
