Deborah "Debbie" Smock

Deborah "Debbie" H. Smock, age 74, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on September 9, 2026. Debbie was born on November 24, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Margaret Strope.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Franklin Smock, her son, Richard "Ricky" Lee Smock, sister, Brenda Russell, and brother, Bobby Strope.

She is lovingly survived by her children, David (Melissa) Smock, Daniel (Catrina) Smock, Christopher (Stephanie) Smock, Amy (Wesley) Murphy, grandchildren, Maisie, Zachary, Kyle, Bradon, Alex, Elaina, Fulton, Devin, Megan, Maraya, LeeAllen, Anthony, Amanda, Allison, sisters, Gloria McNamer, Barbara Voss, many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Debbie loved reading the Bible and writing scriptures. She was extremely artistic and crafty. She was an animal lover. Most importantly, she cherished her family more than anything.

She will be deeply missed.

Per Debbie's wishes a dignified cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home with an inurnment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
