Della V. Shipp, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 28, 2018. She was born on August 10, 1934.
Surviving family includes daughters, Wanda (Joe) Karaffa, Beverly "Cookie" Shaw and Debbie Watkins; daughter-in-law, Jean Phillips; grandchildren, Joey (Rose) Karaffa, Brittany (Blair) Fitch, Jeffrey (Colleen) Watkins, Sara (Adam) Bush and Tonya Phillips; great-grandchildren, Averie, Brady, Brecken, Emmersyn, McKinly, Easton, Cameron, Carson, Colton, Kaden, Kali, Kylie, Keagan and Shayla; brother, Bill (Ann) Nutter; sister, Florence Hill; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by son, Eugene "Gene" Shipp; mother, Ruby; brothers, Kenneth and Gene; sister, Glenna.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 4PM at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway, where visitation will begin at 2PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Della's name to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
