Born on April 30, 1950, in Inez, Kentucky, Elaine lived a life marked by devotion to her family, dedication to her work, and a passion for the simple pleasures that brought her joy.

Elaine had a keen appreciation for stories, often immersing herself in audiobooks that opened new worlds and adventures to her listening ear.
Elaine is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Holland; her beloved daughter, Denise (Ken) Roy; and her treasured grandchildren: Sean Roy, Susan Holland, Marc Roy, Cera Roy, Ozzy Holland, and Haly Roy. She also leaves behind her siblings: Floella Fraley, Sandra (Kevin) McPeek, Alvis (Brenda) Fletcher, and Kathy Taylor, all of whom hold dear the memories shared with her; as well as several nieces and nephews.
