Delno Cummans

Delno A. Cummans, "Del", 86, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away from this life on September 23, 2020. He was born in Nelsonville, Ohio on December 25, 1933 to the late Harley and Helen Cummans. He is preceded in death by his father, Harley Cummans; mother, Helen Cummans; sister, Mabel Cummans; brother Carl Cummans, and daughter-in-law, Colleen Moore. He is survived by a loving family, Janet Cummans, Diana Moore, Carter (Joanna) Moore, Weston Moore, Mary (David) Byrley; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Seth (Angela), Lauren, Zachary (Leah), Lanna, Bethany, and Andrea; great grandchildren, Ava, Myla, Carter, Kylie, Stella, Judah, and Isaiah.
Del served in the United States Army and was deployed to Germany during the Cold War. Del, affectionately known by his family as "Papa Del", loved listening to bluegrass music and playing the banjo. Del was a car enthusiast and this was reflected in his life's work. Del also enjoyed spending time with many of his close friends and family, especially his best bud, Diana Moore.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio on Tuesday, September 29th, 2020 at 11:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Union Grove Cemetery. We ask that attendees please wear masks and try to maintain social distancing.
