Delores Hartung

Dolly Hartung (Young), age 88, much loved by her family, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018, after a prolonged, courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was born to the late Arthur and Bernice (Vernon) Young in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 25, 1930. After graduation from Columbus South High School in 1948, she worked for many years as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell and AT&T. Dolly enjoyed participating in church activities at Ascension Lutheran Church, water aerobics, and her family. She is preceded in death by her sisters Janice Stalvo, Mickey (Bob) Brown, Dorothy; brothers Stanley (Lona), Richard "Dick", and Wayne (Mary). Survived by her children Patrick (Debbie), Becky (David) Sahr, John; grandsons: Scott Sahr, Patrick Hartung; brothers Charles "Chuck" (Mary Alice), James "Jim" (Dee), William "Bill"(Lois); sisters Esther Edison, June (Eb) Goethe, Lois Butler; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call Saturday November 17, 2018 from 9 am to 10 am with a funeral service to follow at 10 am at Newcomer Southwest Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City OH.
