Delores "Dee" W. Miller, 89, of Columbus, OH passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Dee was born in Blissfield, OH on November 7, 1924, to the late Clyde E. and Chloe (Mullett) Williamson.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eugene "Gene" V. Miller; daughter, Deborah D. Miller; son, Gregory (Nancy) Miller; sister, Leota W. Clarke; grandchildren, Sara (Floyd), Brian and Scott; great-grandson, Ian; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Dee taught High School Business Subjects in the Plainfield (Coshocton Co) and Hayesville (Ashland Co) school systems. She also served many years as a Welcome Wagon Hostess in North Columbus and Westerville areas. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Westerville, OH where she served as a Deacon.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, March 3, 2014, 4-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Westerville, 41 West College Street, Westerville, OH 43081 with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Westerville or the Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
