Denise Ann Hughes, 51, of Westerville, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She was born August 6, 1962 in Columbus.
Denise was preceded in death by her father, Danato Dandrea.
She drove school buses for Worthington Schools with 16 years of service.
Denise is survived by her husband, Charles "Tom" Hughes; sons, Sean M. Hughes and Joel T. (Devin) Hughes; mother, Beverly Day Dandrea; brother, Danny (Jill) Dandrea; sisters, Deborah (Allan) Becker and Deanna (Damian) Runyon; grandchildren, Alexis, Kaelyn, Mia, Anjali and Aasha; niece, Adrianne (Kal) Nittala.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Central Region Office-FRAO, 5555 Frantz Rd. Dublin, OH 43017.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Denise was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that was the true Princess of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.
