Dennis A. Bailey, 64, of Blacklick, passed away suddenly Monday, January 6, 2014 at his residence.
He was born September 24, 1949 in Cleveland, son of the late Joseph C. and Patricia J. Bailey.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Pamela K. Bailey and beloved dogs, Shadow and Brandi.
He served in the Air Force during Vietnam and retired from the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
Dennis is survived by his brothers, Bruce, Mark and Kevin Bailey; nieces, Stephanie (David) Cole and Lisa (Robert) Gray; nephews, Kristopher, Matthew and Andrew Bailey; sister's-in-law, Pamela Bailey, Janice George and beloved dog, Andi.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 4:00-5:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter, 6119 E. Main St. Columbus OH 43213.
