Dennis J. Lager, 82 of Grove City, entered into his eternal reward on January 18, 2014. Born on February 28, 1931 to the late Charles and Mabel (Williamson) Lager in Rush City, MN. Survived by wife of 56 years Judith (Howe) Lager; children Terri Slaughter, Joanne McMaken, Michael (Kimberly) Lager and Connie (Gary) Will; grandchildren Emilee and Mitchell; Daniel (Mandy), Scott, Michael, Stephanie and Tyler; Madison and Bentley; Avery and Garrett; great grandchild Greta; sister Loraine Napier. Preceded in death by 1 brother and 4 sisters.
Denny gave his heart to the Lord at 30 years old and spent his time ministering at prisons, missions, nursing homes and his church. He loved teaching Bible classes and singing with his guitar. All were blessed to be touched by his ministries. He retired as a Senior Research Chemist for Ashland Chemical Company after 40 years. He and Judy were avid bicycle riders at Three Creeks Metro Park, followed by breakfast at Frisch's Big Boy. He was a fan of the Reds, Buckeyes and Vikings.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm and on Thursday, from 10 until time of service at 11 am at Radiant Life Church, 7100 Post Rd., Dublin, OH 43017 with Pastors Dean Bohl and David Gross officiating.
Entombment to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
