Dewielene Hunnicutt

Dewielene Hunnicutt, 85, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Dewielene was born on May 9, 1940, in Louisa, Kentucky, to Dewey and Effie (Wright) Kitchen.

Dewielene is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Debra Lynn Hunnicutt.

She is survived by her husband, L. Hassell Hunnicutt, son Lyman, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was a member of Jersey Baptist Church. She retired from the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers' Comp after 30 years. She worked for the Larrimer Law firm for ten years. She loved to bake and work on her crafts.

Family will receive friends on Monday, October 13th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery.
