Diana G. Babcock, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and dear friend, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026. Born on April 20, 1944, in Logan, West Virginia, Diana's life was a testament to her loving nature and dedication to spending meaningful time with her family and friends.
Diana was known for the warmth and kindness she extended to everyone around her. Her home was a gathering place where laughter and love were abundant, reflecting her generous spirit and unwavering devotion to those she held most dear. She found immense joy in nurturing relationships and creating lasting memories with those she loved.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Joseph (Samantha) Babcock and Richard (Jackie) Babcock, and her beloved daughter, Angela Doak. Diana’s legacy is beautifully carried on by her grandchildren: Abbie (Drew), Kirstin (Peyton), Kylie, Landon, Chloe, Aubree, Alexis, Samantha, Stephen, Megan, Kailei (Matt), and Tyler. In addition, she took great pride in her five great-grandchildren who brought her endless happiness. Diana also leaves behind her brother Glen, and her dear friend Yayesh, as well as many other treasured family members and friends who enriched her life.
Diana was preceded in death by her loving parents, Audna and Delphia (Webb) Hall; her sisters Virginia, Ruth, and Carol; and her faithful four-legged companion, Pandy, who was a constant source of comfort and joy throughout her life.
Her passing marks the end of a remarkable journey, yet the love she shared and the memories she created will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Diana G. Babcock’s life was a beacon of love, friendship, and familial devotion, and her legacy will continue to inspire all fortunate enough to have been part of her world. The family offers their deepest gratitude to all who have supported them during this time of mourning.
