Diana Mary Dempsey

Diana Mary (Kaiser) Dempsey, Age 68, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away August 5, 2025 under Hospice Care in Columbus. Diana was born, August 2, 1957 at Virginia Gaye Hospital in Vinton, lowa. She was the daughter of Walter John Kaiser, Jr and Mary Ellen (Quackenbush) Kaiser.

She was preceded in death, by a brother, Daniel Paul Kaiser, her husband, Stephen Dempsey, and her father, Walter J. Kaiser.

She started Elementary School in Clinton, New York, and when her father was transferred, they moved to Centerville, Ohio (in 1966.) She graduated from Centerville High School in 1975; was trained as a Medical Record Transcriptionist at Kettering Medical College and eventually worked in that field at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. She retired from Big Lots in 2022.

She married Stephen Dempsey and is survived by her two sons, Daniel S. Dempsey (Broomfield, Colorado); Aaron Dempsey (Columbus): Grandchild, Layla Lynn Dempsey, (Columbus); her Mother, Mary E. Kaiser (Dayton); two brothers, Carl L. Kaiser (Pamela) (Dayton); and Jonathan Kaiser (Columbus); two nephews: Travis Kaiser (Jessica), Miamisburg,. and T/Sgt, USAF, Jesse P. Kaiser (Katrina): One neice, Abby N. (Kaiser) Coley (Kevin) (Dayton); two nieces: Amaiya Winston, Dezirae Monie, and nephew, Devon Monie, all three (Dayton); and numerous cousins.

There will be a Visitation at Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City, Ohio on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 5pm - 8pm ; Burial to be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, followed by a Family gathering and meal.
