It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Dianna Lee Klaus, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who departed this world on April 28th, 2025, at the age of 85, in Grove City, Ohio. Born on January 10th, 1940, in Elyria, Ohio, to the late Jane and Frank Tippet, Dianna’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and kindness.
Dianna was a woman of many passions, but her love for family and friends was at the very heart of who she was. She found joy in the simplest of pleasures—losing herself in the pages of a good book, the serenity of camping trips, the exhilaration of roller skating as a young girl, and the laughter of card games shared with loved ones. Her adventurous spirit led her to the magic of Disney World, where she made cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her family.
She held her family and friends close to her heart, and memories that will forever be treasured. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith were reflected in her active membership at Bethel Lutheran Church in Grove City.
Dianna’s legacy lives on through her daughters, Laura Carman, Robyn Klaus, and Heidi Rogers; her son-in-law, Michael Rogers; and her grandchildren: Brent Carman and Sally Herman, Jared and Ashlee Carman, William Carman, Aaron and Kelsey Klaus, Erika and Ben Colburn, Travis Webb, Mackenzie Rogers, and Bailey Rogers. Her great-grandchildren—Penny, Logan, Henry, and Ellis—carry her spirit forward, a reminder of the love she felt for her family. She is also survived by her brother, Marvin Snyder, and sister-in-law Kathy Snyder, as well as her brother John Snyder and sister-in-law Judy Tippet.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Klaus, her parents, her brother Frank “Tip” Tippet, and her son Stephen Dean.
She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a reminder to us all to embrace life’s simple joys, to be adventurous, and to always hold family close.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that Dianna’s light will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love will remain forever in our hearts.
