Dominic Capocciama

Dominic L. Capocciama, 90, passed away at home surrounded by his children on May 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Edith M. Capocciama; parents, Peter and Filomena Capocciama; twin brother, Carmen; brothers, Peter, John, and Anthony; sisters, Tomasina and Josephine; granddaughter, Tian (Capocciama) Montgomery; great-grandson, Baby Dominic.

Dominic is survived by children, Teresa, Daniel, Rita, Christina (Dave) Rogers, Peter (Linda), Dominic (Sharon), and LuAnn (Richard) Justman; brothers, Guy (Barbara) and Richard; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lillian, Elizabeth, Joann, Rita, and Elouise; and brothers-in-law, Curtis, Thomas, and Keith.

Member of St. Ladislas Church. Dominic served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Retired from Owens Illinois after 30 years to take care of his wife. Dominic was a dedicated husband, father and devoted Catholic.

Visitation Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH with additional viewing from 10:30 - 11 am. Graveside interment will follow.
