Don Paul Devore

DeVore Don Paul, 88, passed away on, Dec. 11, 2018 at his residence in Reynoldsburg, OH.

He was born on June 6, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio.

Preceded in death by his Mother Violet DeVore Coats, Father Paul Alva DeVore and a son Dr. Philip S. DeVore.

He is survived by his wife Betty J. DeVore, 5 children, Vicki (Michael) Foster, Dale (Julie) DeVore, Dr. Richard (Cindy) DeVore, Dr. Ronald (Duneen) DeVore, and Valerie (Jack) Yurich; 11 Grand Children, 8 Great Grandchildren.

Don was employed by Nationwide Insurance in the 1950's-1970's, was a semi-professional local magician known as the "Great Donde." He was a well known Columbus Coin Dealer from the 1950's through his retirement in 1991. Don was an early member of both the Professional Numistmatist Guild LM # 126, and the American Numismatic Association LM # 526,. Former Pres. of the Forest Park Civic Assoc., past Pres. Of the Ohio Coin Dealers Assoc., served proudly as an auxiliary Franklin County Deputy Sheriff and was active in coaching youth sports and scouting.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, December 22 from 9am to 11am at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231.

Internment at Maplewood/New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio at the DeVore family Grave site on Saturday Dec. 22, at 12:30 p.m..
